Since 2005, industry leaders such as IBM, Hays, and Deloitte, have used Experteer to fill their executive-level vacancies. The platform offers a range of recruitment resources, including automated candidate outreach and applicant management tools.

The site's U.S. section boasts thousands of local opportunities and is well-subscribed by employers in the country. Although Experteer serves a large international audience, they've received many negative reviews from clients.

Pros:

Reputation:

Online reviews of Experteer are less than favorable. From over 760 reviews, users gave the company an average rating of 2.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot and 1 out of 5 on Sitejabber from over 80 reviews, respectively. The majority of reviews are from job seekers who complained about difficulty canceling their subscriptions and a lack of job offers.

Reviews of the mobile app are also generally negative on both Google Play and the App Store, receiving a rating of 2.9 and 1.4, respectively. The only positive reviews that we were able to find were from the company's testimonial page, although the feedback was primarily from job seekers.

Experteer vs. ExecuNet:

Whereas Experteer caters to a global audience, ExecuNet focuses on executive vacancies in the U.S. ExecuNet offers a direct job posting plan for $295.00 per post, whereas employers have to contact Experteer for a quote. Both sites feature candidate matching and job syndication.

Experteer vs. ExecThread:

Experteer and ExecThread both cater to executive-level professionals and employers around the world. Experteer does not disclose pricing on its site, while ExecThread offers free and paid plans starting at $299.00 per post. Unlike Experteer, however, ExecThread does not feature applicant tracking tools.

Experteer vs. LinkedIn:

Whereas Experteer is a niche job board for C-level positions, LinkedIn is a professional social network that provides various free and paid recruitment solutions. Comparatively, LinkedIn receives far more website traffic than Experteer and offers a more modern user interface.
