HiRE vs. WorkNOLA:

HiRE and WorkNOLA are both free local job sites. While HiRE's reach extends across Louisiana, WorkNOLA is primarily focused on the employment market in the Greater New Orleans region. Employers can post jobs and search for candidates in an online database on both platforms, but only HiRE also offers labor market information resources.

HiRE vs. NOLA.com Job Board:

While HiRE is a state-run employment portal and resource, the NOLA.com is the jobs page of a local news publication. Unlike HiRE, which is free, the NOLA.com job board only offers paid plans, starting at $450.00 per post. However, the latter offers better features, including social media promotion and job distribution.

HiRE vs. Indeed:

HiRE and Indeed both offer a free job posting service, but only the latter has a sponsored option for increased job post exposure. Indeed also charges for resume database access, whereas HiRE offers free access to its resume database. With an international presence, Indeed offers a wider reach, but HiRE may be better for targeted local hiring.
