On the next page, click on "EXPLORE SERVICES."
Peruse the available options and click on "Learn More" below the Background Check option.
Then, click on "GET STARTED."
Fill out the online form.
If you conduct more than 100 background checks per year, select the applicable option. Fill out the form with your personal and business details. Agree to the privacy policy and terms of use and click on "Submit."
At the time of writing, the SterlingNOW service for small and medium-sized businesses was unavailable.
If you selected less than 100 background checks per year, enter your email address, and you will be notified once the SterlingNOW service is available.
Sterling vs. AccurateNow:
Both Sterling and AccurateNow offer similar background screening services and pricing packages, however, AccurateNow lacks the enterprise software integration and industry-specific screening that Sterling offers. Pricing is almost identical for both platforms, although Sterling offers more screening options than AccurateNow.
Sterling vs. BeenVerified:
Both screening services offer competitive pricing, however, BeenVerified cannot be legally used as an employment background check software, as it is not a consumer reporting agency per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, making Sterling a more legitimate option for employers.
Sterling vs. GoodHire:
Sterling and GoodHire both have very similar pricing packages, however, GoodHire is only available in English, whereas Sterling offers screening services in multiple regions including Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, among others.
