Also known as DJs, disc jockeys are responsible for playing recorded music on radio shows, at live events, and at nightclubs. Their job is to ensure the music setlist and advertisements are played on time and to engage with listeners through music requests and competitions.

When interviewing disc jockeys, suitable candidates will have a charismatic persona, strong verbal communication skills, and a passion for music. Be wary of candidates with poor interpersonal skills, and those who are not comfortable presenting to a live audience.
