Stagehand Interview Questions

October 16th, 2019

Sometimes called Stage Technicians, Stagehands are employed in film, TV, and theatre to assist with sets. They typically help with lighting, sound, props, and scenery. Stagehands also move equipment around and help with costume changes. Daily duties depend on the type and size of the production.

When interviewing Stagehands, look for candidates with physical strength and who are able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Be wary of those who lack balance and hand-eye coordination, as well as those who struggle to get along with others in a group.
